I grew up in a Pentecostal Christian family. I have been a bible-believing Christian my whole life. My parents and grandparents were persecuted christians from the Soviet Union who fled to United States in 1990. I grew up in the church and have been serving as a church musician since I was 15 years old.

 In 2010, I was offered the position of Director of Music at Gethsemane Lutheran Church. I gladly accepted the opportunity while continuing my volunteer work at Missionary Gospel Church.

During this time, I completed my degree in Piano Performance, taking additional classes in conducting, voice, orchestra, and choir to enhance my skills as a director.

In 2012, I married my wonderful wife, Anastasia. We are now blessed with two children: Annabel and Benjamin.

Soon after graduation, I was offered a music teaching position at Brookfields Private School in Downtown Sacramento. For four years, I directed school musicals, choir concerts, music videos, and special performances, while also developing the school’s music curriculum and teaching all eight grade levels.

Throughout my musical life, I’ve experienced an incredible variety of styles—traditional hymn music in my Lutheran church, modern contemporary worship in my Pentecostal church, professional chamber choir in university, Disney musicals, jazz ensembles, classical quartets, piano recitals, and more. I’ve written numerous arrangements and original compositions, and I’ve developed the ability to improvise at a very high level.

What sets me apart is my deep expertise in sheet music. I love sheet music! For over 12 years, I have been editing, arranging, and engraving music for choirs, ensembles, and instrumental groups. Whether adjusting vocal ranges for choirs or writing out full instrumental parts for worship bands, I have always taken a hands-on approach to making music accessible and performance-ready.

In 2012, I launched my own sheet music website with the goal of providing high-quality, free sheet music. Today, the site receives over 2,000 visitors a day from hundreds of churches across America and around the world.

I also run the Road to Virtuosity YouTube channel, which currently has over 25,000 subscribers. I post videos of traditional Christian hymns and Classical repertoire and provide free sheet music alongside them.

As of August 5, 2025, I have published my first romance science fiction novel, The 28th Planet. This book is unique because each chapter comes with an original piano composition - which helps enrich the reading experience. Available to buy on Amazon. Click here

I am currently writing new piano books and compositions, teaching piano privately, creating piano videos, and continuing my role as Director of Music in church—while also expanding my work as an author.
