I have always found it difficult to get my students to practice their scales. What usually happens during their homework session is one, two, maybe three play-throughs of their scales and arpeggios before they move on to their performance pieces. I don't want to waste precious lesson time on scales but sometimes I really need to. That is why I decided to write out 35 different scales exercises. This way my students are forced to practice at least 15 minutes on their scales/arpeggios for homework. The exercises are written in progressive difficulty, but they are basically just scales and arpeggios. Enjoy.
